We live in a world of cultural appropriation and whitewashing in many industries, including fashion and music.  So what about these shoes?  White paint on brown leather.  Is this whitewashing black culture in some way?  You tell me.  A mix of cultures with these classical shoes, lovely leather by the way.  It is interesting to think about how hip hop became part of the white man’s game.  Here’s a nice pair of shoes for a music executive, do you think?

The outside of the shoes reads “Hip Hop”, a word on each shoe.  The back of the shoes are striped and there’s a plant-like design on the insides of the shoes.  The front of each shoe has a red stripe and there are liver shapes which are lilac with a turquoise surround.
