CARDBOARD ART – PEOPLE/GROUPS

£350 INCLUDING POSTAGE IN THE UK.  IF IN ANOTHER COUNTRY PLEASE MESSAGE FOR PRICE.

Art work on cardboard. One off. About A3 in size. Square in shape with two round holes (one on each side) and another kidney shaped hole in the middle of the card. The top left and right side of the card are like they have had a semi circle removed. Background: bottom two thirds is pink, top third is yellow (dull) Two images like music speakers around each of the round holes. Male figure to the bottom left, head and shounders. Woman backbending around the kidney shaped hole in the middle of the card. The word Amersham above the women and Arms to the right of her arms. The word Poo after Amersham so that it reads Shampoo. Woman sat on the left speaker and the words Lovin is really my game abve her. Referencing Studio 54 in New York (famous nightclub). Male figure to the right of the woman and two faces one under the woman on the left and the other under the man on the right. The art work is about a live music venue in South East London, the Amersham Arms.

AMERSHAM ARMS

Art work on cardboard. One off. About A3 in size. Square in shape with two round holes (one on each side) and another kidney shaped hole in the middle of the card. The top left and right side of the card are like they have had a semi circle removed. Background: white and orange paint in parts as well as red paint. Two women holding hands, one reaching out to the other. One looks like she is sat on a tall object with a kind of mosaic surface. A bit like a tower. A kind of Pharoah-like figure at the top right of the art work. Blue and pink objects forming some kind of arch and then some oblong shapes above. Colours are alternated throughout. A little card shape with a smiling face near the one foot of each of the women. The art work is about a live music venue in South East London, the New Cross Inn.

NEW CROSS INN

Art work on cardboard. One off. About A3 in size. Square in shape. Two round holes (one on each side) and another kidney shaped hole in the middle of the card. Background: pink and yellow in different areas. Row of houses white van and a man leaning over the van. Little path and the words White Van Man. Muslim woman on left of work. Stalk leading to hole in the cardboard and petals around the hole on both sides. Two figures sat back to back around the kidney shaped hole. The words Trojan Horse on the left of the work and Love is in the Air on the right of the work. The word Palfrey in big lettering in the middle. A bird looking up at one of the figures and a woman at the right of the image. Palfrey is an area near Walsall, West Midlands UK.

PALFREY

Art work on cardboard. One off. About A3 in size. Two round holes in the cardboard in the top third, one each side of the cardboard. Background: pink paint. A mix of people some merging into one. Cats legs become the hair above faces. A man on his knees is being kissed by a bird where the beak is like a whistle and the words underneath the man’s legs read On your marks. Pram Face are the words above a woman pushing a baby in a pram and the pram wheels are the eyes of a face. There is a fish above the woman pushing the pram. Fantasy figures. Two purple figures with blue two tone hair are peeping out from behind a tree trunk and there is a kind of animal next to them in some kind of full body leotard outfit perfect for sport. One figure bends over and the long blonde hair (seen from the back) is then the skirt of another figure. One off art work.

ON YOUR MARKS

The Locarno cardboard art about A3 in size. The Locarno was a nightclub in Birmingham and there was Locarnos across England. This is a scene with a woman's face in top left of cardboard where a hole is her mouth and the words Uptown Top Ranking run under her hairline and around her chin and neck. The hand of the woman is coming up from the bottom left of the cardboard and the fingers are extended and look like chickens with spikey hair and a beak around each finger and the nail looks like an eyeball with eyelid (not detailed. There is the words The Locarno on the piece and a man and woman standing talking at a tall table. There is anoter woman under the hand where you only see part of her face. To the right of the image is a doorway and it looks like inside a room with slabs for stairway leading there. This is only small on the rigt side of the cardboard. Background is pink for the bottom two thirds of the cardboard and a kind of orage for the top third of the card.The Locarno cardboard art about A3 in size. THE LOCARNO

Night club scene on A3 cardboard. Man at cash counter and couple of heads coming out of what could be tree trunks. Two holes in the cardboard in the top third of the cardboard. One hone on the right is used as an empty face of a woman. Large figure at the top right of the cardboard. Head and shoulders and heart shape on the top of the person. Image that could be a fancy door with glass panels. Bit of the cardboard towards the top left has its top surface torn off. With the two heads that are coming out of tree trunks, one has leaves as hair. The words Pagoda Park on the cardboard.

PAGODA PARK

One-off art work on A3 cardboard. Green background. Black woman on the left of the image. Pink top. Hair in individual almond shapes around the head with black surround yellow and red inside with green dots. Purple and yellow bird on the woman’s shoulder. Lots of space to the right of the image.

BLACK WOMAN WITH BIRD

Mixed colour background pink, yellow and green. Indian boy sits on a chair. Orange hair, long neck. Shirt with pocket, legs crossed. Awkward angles. Small figure upside down in front of a tree floating in the air like a backbend above a thin line which could be a tightrope. Background colours are in patches and there are a few spots on the art work. One off piece on cardboard. Between A4 and A3 in size.
